Forty Days! 
40 days for me! i have not had a drink in 40 days, I have lost 19 lbs and im very happy about alot in my life!
i tried to quit smoking the other day- and i found myself shoving food in my mouth- so i decided im not ready yet-
im doing 2 things at once here and im doing very good so im going to wait til i finally make the decision to quit smoking- sorta like how i made the decision to quit drinking 40 days ago
thank you all SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much for the feedback and continued support!

Good job Maria, congratulations! One thing at a time too; you'll get to the smoking later. Trying to do too many things at once just might set the stage for failures across the board, so for now, enjoy the accomplishment of putting down the drink, and continue on the path of staying sober.

congratulations for your 40 days and your 19lbs - that's both really very good!
i was thinking of giving up the smoking too, but i've been advised to not change my way of life too drastically within the first year on the wagon.
