Call in the night...

Oldest AS called 4 a.m.
couldn't understand a word he was saying..
.just the end..."love you mom and dad."

Next phone call, Mr. Moose answered
(what the heck we were awake, anyway)

Seems the apartment across from my sons
caught on fire, he dragged an elderly man out,
he said NO ONE would help him,

He says, now he's homeless...

I'm praying it was just smoke damage in HIS apartment.

Sending a prayer for you and your son. It is a shame that you could not understand what he was saying, until the end. His HP is looking after him and he is safe from the fire.

Maybe the I love you was all you needed to hear. Maybe when he rescued that man he was thinking about his own parents.

my son's I love you's mean so much more to me when he's sober, but I'm glad that he says it regardless.

Moosie,

I'm glad your son is OK. Homelessness happens when there is a fire. I'm glad he could help the elderly man. Prayers that something good comes from all this.

They say everything happens for a reason. Maybe, this is the beginning of his time! He was watched over and had the sense to think of his parents during a crisis. He loves you, he's still there. Prayers for you and your son,

Okay, the good news is he's not homeless.
Just alot of smoke and water damage, but the place is livable.
So that's good news.

He called today, he inhaled alot of smoke...(Now THAT sounds funny...)
and coughing his head off but he's okay.

Coming in way late, but so glad he is okay, and he saved a man's life!!!! I know he just needed to touch base with the people who have cared for him through everything that night. You're a doll, glad he's okay.
