So Excited!!!
Major milestone tonight! Went to a happy hour celebration for a kid that used to work for me at my last job; I was optimistic and hopeful, yet very apprehensive. I wasn't sure I'd make it through. This is the first time I've been around alcohol in a social setting since I quit 21 days ago. I'm happy to say that it was totally easy. Ordered a club soda with lime; I hadn't seen some of the folks there for over a year and ended up really enjoying my evening and didn't really think about drinking. AND I didn't have to worry about driving back home....woohoo!!!! 
It was weird...most of the people I drank with back then were all genuinely supportive and positive, but were quite surprised. I guess when people are used to seeing you with a drink in your hand it must seem strange when they don't.
It really can be done....stay hopeful!!
