two year old talking to daddy last night

Well she insisted on calling him, so I figured I'd let her talk to him. She was watching Nemo. She tells him, "Hi Daddy, I watch Nemo....Fish are friends, not food"

Thats precious!
I have a two year old Granddaughter that never fails to make me laugh.
I remember the mortified look on her face when she realized that the chunks on her plate were fishies!

That is too cute. I love to hear little one's talk - they tell it like it is and usually in just enough words to make their point.

Every time I'm around a child, I wish that I could remember to communicate like they do...to the point. Oh well, progress not perfection, right?

I'm so heartbroken for my two year old. His father disappeared on what I can only assume is a crack binge about two weeks ago and we haven't heard from him (except for one message saying that he wanted his stuff - because I told him if he left to smoke crack, don't bother coming back).

My 2-year old has been telling me daddy stories. Daddy fix this. Daddy buy me digger. Daddy eat pizza. Where daddy go? We go see daddy now?

Personally, I'm glad he's gone and I don't care if I ever hear from him. But when kids are involved. It's so tragic.

It reminds me of the shark Bruce in Nemo. "I nevah knew my fathah". Actually, I don't even like to let my son watch Nemo anymore because it's all about daddy searching for his son.

It's just got to be so confusing for him.

Yep, hello-kitty, Maddie is crazy about her Daddy. And crack is what her daddy does. It's why we were gone last night. She talks about him 24/7.......It's so sad.....I just wish it would go away.
