Feels good....
Ok this is similiar to embrace and her "interesting incident" story! Just thought I would share too the feeling of feeling and acting on it gracefully!
I went for gas on Saturday-and the man asked me how much "20.00 please I said credit" he repeated it and said "20.00" I said yes "20.00" so it was stated pretty simple. The other man that was there was talking to me trying to hold on a conversation with me that I was not much interested in doing-I nicely began to ignore him so he would walk away.
The gas is done and they are both standing there with my credit card-I asked if there was a problem? They said no no problem then proceeded to walk inside now. I see him speaking to another man in there-Something inside of me knew something was wrong so I look back at the pump and it says $35.00!! I was like what!?!?! I then stopped myself and said do not react to this but rather come up with a solution to this situation in a calm manner. I stepped out of my suv and went inside I said what seems to be the problem-no problem we put $20.00 on your card and began to hand the card to me-I said where is my receipt? Again repeated twice-the one man walked over to the garbage can and handed me the crumbled piece of paper that read $35.00 on my charge!
I said ok now you have to options you hand me $15.00 or I will contact the police and you will have to hand the $15.00 to me. Very calmly-they started to speak in a different language and the guy admitted that he was wrong and apologized and handed the money to me!
It felt good to stand up for me! To call someone on something that was affecting me felt great! Speaking out is a grand feeling!!
My friend said that I should have just let it go....Ummmm for 5.00 yes for 15.00 Nope sorry could not do that!
Ahhhhhh life is good!

Good for you Rella. Doesn't it feel great to stick up for yourself? I wouldn't go back to that gas station though. I had a similar thing happen to me once. That's why I like to pay cash at gas stations now, if I can that is.
