AHHHH!! 4 Days!!
So, I have finally made it 4 days. That is 96 hours... we are talking about 5760 minutes! Ill let you all calculate the seconds... but yes!
My nausea is dying down a bit, but I still feel sick to my stomach every morning now, not so much during the day. I cant believe how much soda I have been drinking these past few days

Way to go, IN! Four days is awesome! Hopefully your nausea calms soon.
I'm on day 14 off alcohol, benzos and cigarettes - my only vice is one cup of coffee in the morning. Still pretty nauseated and tired. For me, I think it's the benzos more than the alcohol - benzo detox can be harsh! However, I also know I cannot stop at one drink.
Never EVER want to go back! Keep posting...

Day 4 was a real BEAR for me, the fog was just starting to lift, I wanted a drink bad, but I wanted to stay sober even more!
I was actually better then on day 3 though, I was able to understand some of the things being said to us/me in detox, the thing that stuck in my head because I really wanted/needed to stay sober was the following:
"If you want a chance at staying sober after leaving here go to at least 90 AA meetings in 90 days & get a sponsor".
Well I managed to follow directions and have been very happily sober for over a year now!
Keep at it, I have been sober over a year and life is still getting better.
