News Still good On Dad

Yes he is still doing fabulous, thought it would be good to share good news, give hope. It is going on a year of sober and he has turned back into the nice person I think I remember. The only strange part is my mom is still a bit on the crazy side. Used to think it was from the drinking but now not so sure.

That's great news, JD. It's been 2 years since I've lived with active alcoholism and I'm still a little crazy myself. It can take a while.

I'm 2 1/2 years sober, and Lord knows I slip back into stinking thinking and sick behavior sometimes. Give it time, and be gentle on yourself. Thanks for keeping us updated.
