In my area, it's customary for a sponsor to pin on a 90-day pin...usually with the comment, "If you feel like drinking, swallow the pin first!"
I passed my pin on to the first gal I sponsored, who passed it on to someone else, etc., etc.
I was given a 10-year medallion, which I passed on to another 10-year celebrant. The only medallion I have left is the one for 20 years of sobriety.
Oh...I also have a medallion from my Matt Talbott retreat...the inscription is W-2 1648, which stands for Women's Group Number 2 - Member 1648...have no idea what that memberships is now, 27 years after the fact.
