Thank You For Walking With Me
I just noticed that I am about to hit post #30,000 and wanted it to be special, so I decided to take this opportunity to tell you all how much your love and support has meant in my life (and then maybe shut up for a while, lol)
You've walked with me on this journey of recovery, and we've shared tears of sadness and tears of joy, holding each other up when we could not stand alone, and sharing our light....the greatest gift of all.
For once, I am going to keep the words brief, and just say that I love you all so very much and am filled with gratitude for the support and friendships I have found here.
This song makes me think of our journey together and how, so many times, you have raised me up from my stormy seas to be a better person and stand closer to the light.
I love you and thank you for walking with me.

Ann - Words can not express in true form of how much you mean to me. How many times your words saved me from drowning, an emotional CPR, a spiritual peace. Your example that you have set in your recovery, has inspired hope, when there was no hope, laughter, when the tears wouldn't stop, visions of steel toed bunny slippers placed in just the right spot at just the right time, and a lead foot itching to crank up the codie bus.
Most of all, you care and you give yourself unselfishly to help ease the pain that we all have to walk through. Your journey helped make mine more bearable.

Thank you Ann, for sharing your strength and hope. Thanks too, for showing how it was, what you did (and do still) and how things are today. I think of you and these words come to mind: grace, gentleness, strength, honesty and compassion.God bless you and...

You're making me teary eyed, but that's okay, we've sniffled together before and this is a good sniffle.
I don't know how so many people can connect in spirit who have, in most cases, never met each other. But I know that we have and each one of you has a special place in my heart and in my prayers.
And Best, I knew I should have added some fellows to the walkers, the men here are as important as any and I'm proud to have you and all the men her walk beside me too....you're too smart to walk in front of the lady with the steel toed bunny slippers
I love you too, dear friend, and you KNOW my cat loves you too.
Love you all, so let's take all this good stuff and share it with a newcomer coming in the door.

Ann,
I admire you. I want what you have and that is the stability that you have found in your life in spite of the cross that you carry. I hope someday I can get there right beside you.......but you have some pretty big bunny slippers to fill.

And I don't intend to stop anytime soon. Me and my bunny slippers are pretty comfortable here and I think it's a good place to just keep my balance.
