Hey everyone! I know that I keep saying I will go to meetings and bailing but I found a friend in town that promised me tomorrow she will come with me. This means the world to me. Honestly, I don't even feel nervous now knowing she will be there. I'm just so relieved I'll have a friend standing by me. And I put a pic up of my face because I no longer care who knows I'm an alcoholic. I am a lot of other things as well. No more Amy for now, though she'll always hold a soft spot in my heart.

I will definitely come back and tell you all about it...I'm actually kind of excited, which is a first...excited to go to an AA meeting? LOL Normally, I'm petrified. It helps to have a friend with me!!

Jules, I heard about Amy Winehouse. I feel so badly for her! I'm really wishing her the best. I think she might be getting a little better as she performed at the Mercury awards not that long ago. I was gonna' go to her Chicago concert on Oct 3 but all of her North American shows were cancelled. Poor thing, hope she rests up.
