Favorite lines from movies........

I was thinking of one of my favorite movies, and some of the lines that have stuck with me, and thought I should post it.......

Anne of Greene Gables:

Anne: I am in the "depths of despair--Marilla, have you ever been in the "depths of despair"?

Marilla: Certainly not! To be in the "depths of despair" would be turning one's back on God!

I think that puts things in proper perspective! Anyone else?........

Well Lyn, mine isn't as thought provoking as yours but lately I keep seeing Cher saying "Snap out of it!" in Moonstruck....lol

I wonder why

"I might have been born in Texas, ma'am... but it wasn't yesterday."

I don't know what it's from but I think that was John Wayne talking.

I thought this would be appropriate; Considering how CODEPENDANT we all are

"You complete me..."

From that movie with Tom Cruise.... u know. OH! Jerry McGuire

I can laugh at that one now... but when I actually saw the movie, I thought it was the most romantic thing ever. HA! funny

Movie quotes

"I'd rather have fifteen minutes of wonderful, than a lifetime of nothing special."
Shelby -"Steel Magnolias"

"I'm tired, boss. Tired of being on the road, lonely as a sparrow in the rain. Tired of not ever having me a buddy to be with, or tell me where we's coming from or going to, or why. Mostly I'm tired of people being ugly to each other. I'm tired of all the pain I feel and hear in the world every day. There's too much of it. It's like pieces of glass in my head all the time. Can you understand?"
John Coffey - "The Green Mile"

Carol: "I just want a normal boyfriend!!"
Carol's mother: "We all do dear, they don't exist."
- "As Good As It Gets"

"Did you ever get the feeling that there's something going on that we don't know about?"
Fenwick - "Diner"

Thought provoking Lyn there are so many good ones here !

How about cowardly lion from wizard of oz saying "i do believe, i do believe,i do i do i do!" as he grabs his tail crying in fear.

Gone with the Wind, Scarlett "I'll just have to think about that tomorrow.."

And from my favourite..."My Big Fat Greek Wedding"

Maria: Toula, On my wedding night, my mother, she said to me, "Greek women, we may be lambs in the kitchen, but we are tigers in the bedroom".
Toula: Ew! Please let that be the end of your story.

Liddy, I love that one

from Gone with the Wind--I say it a lot! You guys are really good at this--looks like I'm going to have to watch more movies.

Keep up the good work!
