News on the house

Our agent called a little while ago, he has contacted Johnny Isakson (our senator) and gotten him involved. Isakson's office is supposed to get the FEMA stuff expedited... and I'm going to tell our agent to make sure they even get it taken care of for the newer flood map, not the old one, so that when it comes back, it will be the way we need it.

We're leaving in a minute to sign some papers related to all of this nonsense... and maybe things are starting to get better after all. There is a light at the end of the tunnel again.

So, as you all have told me before, the difference between a bad day and a good day is, indeed, about two days.
