Bright Eyed and Bushy Tailed
on a Saturday morning!!!! That's nothing short of miraculous for me! And to top it off, the weather here is perfect, and I get to enjoy it!
This is Day 6 for me and the first weekend in a very long time that I am sober.
I am just so happy to wake up feeling this way that I wanted to share that with all of you. You are really helping me to stay on track. When I read your posts, I recognize myself, and I am understanding that I really am not the only person in the universe who has this problem (as in, I'm really not all THAT.) So, thank you, thank you for being here and for being the courageous, strong people that you are. And thank God for the internet. It has opened up avenues to meet wonderful people that I would otherwise never have met.
Today, I am feeling very grateful for everything in my life. Okay, off to enjoy this beautiful day!!

Glad to hear it...I too feel great this morning. And it willl be a first weekend for me as well.

I had a really nice day visiting with my siblings who I have long neglected. Wow, if I keep it up, I might just turn into a human being.....

Congratulations on six days sober! I'm only on day 14 myself so not so different. It really feels great to wake up on the weekend sober doesnt it!
Dont suppose you could send some of your perfect weather this way could you please? It wont stop raining here
