OT back from vacation
Wow what a trip! Paradise Island is too cool... as long as you gots lots-o-bucks and don't mind crowds! LOL! Had a great time with just my youngest, we hit the jet skis as soon as we got there and they let him drive by himself. At 14 he was expecting to hear he was too young and could only be a passenger. I think it was the highlight of the trip for him!
We went scuba diving on one of those resort dive deals were you don't need to be certified. We got some quick swimming pool training then out in the boat to dive in open water with an instructor as our buddy. They took us to where the opening scene of Into the Blue was filmed. Man what a cool dive, shallow (only 20 ft) very calm and clear conditions... perfect. They also took us to where a sunken Cessna plane was that was used for filming Jaws 4 but nobody knows about that movie! LOL!! I have got to get certified and start making this an annual thing. Scuba diving is a blast.
We also did a fishing charter and it was the 1st time my youngest had ever done any fishing. His 1st time on a charter in the Bahamas and he caught a Barracuda. We reeled in so many fish I lost count after 20 something. All in all a great trip and way over due for me
