Spending the week-end together

Well, I asked my daughter to come and spend the week-end with me at my summer place. She said YES. I am so glad she wants to come with me. This is the first time in a long time. Please pray that we will have a good time and try to put all of our troubles aside just for one week-end. Her cousins will be there and they are around her age. She said she is looking forward to sitting around the campfire tonight and being with them. Maybe we'll even make s'mores. The best thing is that her father was never a part of this. I purchased this after he died. There are no memories of him there. Wish me luck.

Luv...........Lois

Thanks girls, No Cece my place is not far from Pgh. It's about a 45 to 50 min. drive.
In traffic about an hour. It is up in the country north from where we live. Quiet, cooler temps at night. There are some things to do there. We can swim, take walks, have a cook out, sit on the swing, watch the ducks at the pond. Maybe we'll go for a little mini golf, then to the best ice cream place around. We ride around in my golf cart and visit some of the neighbors. I think Sat. night at the pavillion there is going to be a DJ. Enough to keep us busy. I'll let you know how it went when I get back. Keeping my fingers crossed that it is positive.

Luv........Lo

Lobo
I hope you and your daughter have a great time together. It is so good that this place has no ties to her dad. Eat a s'more or two for me. Sounds like a great fun and peaceful week-end.
