As I'm sitting here I have the news on and am brought to tears as I watch the breaking news coverage from downtown Minneapolis were a major interstate bridge crossing the Mississippi river collapsed this evening during rush hour traffic sending cars into the river. Suddenly, all the things that are bothering me and weighing on me seem so very trivial to me now. My heart goes out to all the families who have loved ones who were on that bridge. I don't even know yet if any of my friends or aquitances were on that bridge today. I'm counting my blessings.

Oh, MTB. I'm sorry. I haven't had the television on to see that. I am praying your friends weren't among those injured and killed.

Those poor people. I'm watching the coverage on TV. Prayers being sent up for all those involved.

If this was happening during the school year I would most likely have been traveling on that bridge around that time. It makes me so sad to see tragedy like this.
