I caved

I caved in. I called him just a few minutes ago. He got a upset. I thought he said something to the kids that wasn't really appropriate but I misunderstood. He did admit he still loved me but that I still need to give him time. I really am going to try my hardest not to call him. I just keep busy doing other things. He said he won't go to rehab so I guess I'm finally getting my answer. No what I wanted but I knew this could have gone either way. He is still angry I told him to leave but he said he wanted to go when he was drunk and he didn't go so I finally called him on it so I think that he is still shocked. Can't wait to see the therapist.

Don't be too hard on yourself. Its too new. Just learn from mistakes and go forward.

My AH says he doesn't need rehab or AA since he's managed to stay dry for 12 days. {shrug} Its his problem, not mine.

Stop being so hard on yourself DITTO!

Take the focus off of him and place it on you! When you see the therapist that will help you to begin to place more of the focus elsewhere!

Pick-a-name has always suggested a great book "Getting them Sober" and not sure if it was suggested to you yet? (Sorry pick-a-name) it is a great read!

There are alot of good reads-check out the stickies at the top of the forum for other reads-

One day at a time....breathe deep-and just keep doing those other things!
