Hi! I'm new...
Hello, I am a grateful recovering addict with 95 days clean. I visited this site about 2 years ago when my soon-to-be ex-husband went to rehab. I was an addict then but still in denial, so I didn't hang around long at all. Finally after hitting rock bottom and almost losing my children I realized I had to get it together for myself and them! I went to rehab, am in the process of divorcing my husband (who is still in active addiction), and living a wonderful happy life in recovery! Things are a slow go but with strength in my Higher Power, working my Twelve Steps and attending meetings when I can, I know things can only get better! JUST FOR TODAY!! This is new to me so any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome and congratulations on your clean time! It sounds like you are moving in a positive direction with your recovery - well done.

Congratulations on 95 days clean, and welcome to SR.
Im going to my first step meeting tonight and im not sure what to expect and having doubts, so its good to hear you talk about how much the steps are helping you.
95 days is all the proof I need.

Welcome to SR, misstiger. Glad that you're here.
I'm an alcoholic with 1 week sober today. It's good that you're going to meetings. Congrats on your 95 days. That's wonderful. The only advice I have is to continue what you're doing. You sound like you're off to a fantastic start.
Keep posting. There's a lot of helpful folks here.

re-Hi! I'm new...
i can identify...i had checked out, found and located the 12 step recovery group info that i needed. i then promptly lost it and, 18 months later, had to re-obtain all of it all over again. all i can say is work the steps, keep going to meetings, and make calls to other recovering addicts. welcome aboard! -whispering owl....
