Update...photos...missing you guys!!
Hi everyone!
Just wanted to say good morning to all and wish everyone a great day! I have been really busy lately with relatives visiting, baby Shelby, and school and haven't had much time to come here. I do think about you guys a lot, and I have 'lurked' a few times-I just haven't posted because I get SO long-winded! LOL!
Honestly though, I had to take a step back and jumpstart my own recovery. A lot of what I was reading on here was just too close to home and was sort of pulling me down, you know? Also, I had a couple of conversations with exah in the last few weeks that had me kind of down for awhile. Not in the sense that I want him back, but in the sense that he is SO sick, and I started asking myself how in the world I didn't see it for what it is for so many years; how I was so wrapped up in his life that I lost my own in the process....so....
I am seeing a counselor; have my second visit in a couple of hours. He is having me read "Bradshaw On The Family" as a starting place for working through my 'junk'. Is anyone familiar with it? It has been pretty enlightening for me so far.

Thanks for the pictures. Babies are God's way of bestowing hope on the world. She is so precious. I did the therapist thing last winter and it helped me to realize that what my daughter is doing is not personal. Prayers that it helps you too. Hugs, Marle
