24 Hours!
24 Hours!
It's not much but it means the world to me because I haven't been able to go for 8 hours much less 24. I saw my doc this morning who said to go slower with my klonopin taper. I'm having a hard time thinking but I'm not working right now (had to quit my job because my using was interfering with it). Unfortunately I have some health consequences from using-I'm having to have a bunch of tests done which is pretty frightening especially since I did this to my body. How do you handle the fact that using has caused your body a lot of damage. I'm keeping everything really simple right now. And I'm afraid all the time of a bad craving.

I have done alot of damage to myself as well and never knew until I stopped getting high long enough to feel the effects.
Just make sure you do what you gotta do to take care of yourself.

Congratulations on getting through 24 hours!
I have had to deal with some health issues too. The fact is we do damage our bodies with drugs and alcohol and that is something that's hard to deal with. One thing I have noticed is that many people do things that are harmful to them - people smoke, eat high-fat diets, don't exercise. We are human and we do the best we can do. Something I try to remember is that I am right where I am supposed to be, whether I can see that or not, this is the right place for me. Positive thinking helps!
