almost there!!!
Well my Son left last night back for GA. It's niceee and quiet here today! I'm worn out!
We had a terrible mishap here the night before he left. Our sewer got backed up and it came out of the shower of all things, downstairs in Steve's room!! Talk about the sickest thing you ever saw!!!!!!!
Anywho, insurance is paying for new carpet and furniture for down there. They hired an emergency clean up crew yesterday and they got everything outside, and cleaned the carpet so they can pull it out tomorrow. It had completely covered his whole bedroom floor & then even some got in the garage. Thank God for homeowners insur.!! Turns out it was roots, tampons and possible a broken pipe. Now they got to dig down 4.5 feet to replace a pipe. They think they can do it without cutting into the concrete.
We have to pay $250 deductible. Thats not too bad.
So gross!!!!!!!!! I havent been able to stomach much food since. I keep gagging.
Anyway, I WAS going to make today my quit day, but I cant detox with all these peeps coming into my home for the next few days. This has been so stressful on his whole visit. I'm so used to it just being me and Kelly here, and once a week or so the grandkids. And "I" thought the grandkids were messy. huh. silly meeeee!!!
And I found cigarette butts on my plants!!!!!!!!! THAT made me so mad!!
Next time he comes home (during his mid tour from Iraq) I'm laying down the law!!!!! No more gigantic parties lasting til 4 am while keeping my very sweet neighbors awake - not to mention me & kel!! No more tampons going in the toilet! No more peeps under 21! Just nice quiet LITTLE gatherings wif very few peeps & no drinking! GRRRRRRR! Someone puked on one of the beds downstairs and didn't bother to clean it up before they left!
I've been so upset and I'm not kidding! I WILL join you sweet peeps in a few days though.
I pray everyone has been doing good. I haven't had much computer time in the last 3 weeks, so I havent been able to keep up.

The sooner the better....I understand the mess your in. I have been there.
But you know what I learned? There will always be something in everyday life that is upsetting...It is easy to say I will quit when this is taken care of. We know it is just an excuse...To keep on using...

Yep, this is it. They got all the "poop" out of the house and hauled off.
Now we can start fresh. And like I said above....no more. They can party somewhere else. It wont break my heart any.
Tomorrow morning I will be starting my detox. It's gonna suck! But I will be back on track and that will be sooooo nice. I wont feel sick anymore. I just need to NOT get weak and give in ANYMORE. Once I start, I dont stop til I'm so far into it that I dont know my a$$ from a hole in the ground, as they say.
I cant wait to see all my peeps at AA again!!
I'll feel good, I'll have good smelling breath, I wont worry as much, I'll remember things! The list goes on. You all know what I mean so I wont make my fingers bleed by typing out all the GOOD things about being sober.
I really do respect the hell out of all of you.
I've been cutting wayyyyy back the last 2 days. especially today. So hopefully it wont be too bad. God, I hope not. I HATE detoxing. Seems I was pretty good at about 3 or 4 days last time. Livable.

Morning guys!! ...................Day 1
Just got up about an hour ago. I'm feeling good. No hangover so thats going to help a lot today! I'm feeling really positive about quitting. All the beer is gone so I wont be tempted.
Thank you for your support and encouragement, it's helps so much! Dont know what I'd do without you guys!
