Day 1
Goodmorning everyone! I'm sitting here with some coffee, just taking it easy before I start my day. I feel better than I did last night, and I just want to thank everyone who posted a reply to me last night, I was in a really dark place and it's nice to know I can get support. That is what I love about this place, you can always find people on here willing to chat!!!
As I said before, it's been a while since I've posted here so let me give you a little update:
The longest I've been without drinking (sadly) is only 3 months. Those 3 months though were awesome! I want to feel that way again! So what ended that streak was simply - I thought I could handle it. I'd been doing good and we were going to this bbq and I thought "why not - I've been good" and well... we all know the tragic end to that story.
I also have gone back to school, which is just one more reason (to add to the many others) I need to stop drinking. I'm trying to better myself, and get a better job so we can have a better life - and I don't want to screw that up!
So today I'm having brunch with in-laws, then I'm coming home to do som chores and homework - it should be a good day!
