How is everyone today?
Just thought I'd start a post to see how everyone is today and what nice thing everyone plans to do for THEMSELVES today.
As for me, I am fine...good actually. Have a lot going on with work and my last track meet tomorrow...but we'll get through it!
What do I plan on doing for me today?? Lots of things! Watch Oprah (I never get to anymore
), take a bath later tonight and of course, see who wins American Idol!!! And play with my son!
What about everyone else?????

Today I am going to see my hair dresser. My hair is long about half way down my back. Growing up my mother always kept my hair really short. My mom had 5 girls in 5 years so I can't really blame her...lol The only thing I do with my hair other than wear it straight is put it in a pony tail.
My husband and I leave next week on a cruise, 13 days! I want to be able do do something else with my hair. So that is my pleasure today!

Today will be great...i just know it. I don't have too much planned. I figure I'll take the girls out for a walk shortly and plant some flowers. The weather here is gorgeous today! Besides I need the exercise

Its been a good day !
I can handle this 24 hrs thanks to my HP and working the program
of alanon.
my grandson's birthday today 6yrs old! cook out at our house !

I woke up this morning hearing that song and I can't get it out of my head. I even have my kids singing it.

What a beautiful day it was today! My youngest and I walked downtown to do our daily errands and then took the long way home, down around the pier to watch the seagulls. Came home and while she napped I relaxed with my crocheting and watched a soap for a change. My oldest is gone on a 3 day trip to Montreal so I thought I'd splurge and walked to Wendy's to treat myself and my other 2 kids for supper. All that walking.. I think we may need to have some icecream for dessert now hmmm.... with whipped cream... and cherries.... and bananas.....
ok.. I know.. it sounds more like a sundae hehehe

I didn't do drugs, alcohol or overeat today...I'd say, that's great!
And today is my Friday. I go back to work on Tuesday. Got a scolding at work for something I didn't do...but, heck, I made it though and I have a 5 day mini vacation to do whatever I want!
