Positive things

I wanted to start a thread withthe positive things we have in our lives.

Too many times we can focus on the bed and sink into depression.

Positives in my life:

I am beautiful inside and out.
My family and friends love me
I have 3 healthy happy children
I ahve a decent job
food in my fridge
and a roof over my head
God holds my hand whenever I reach for him and ask him to.
Im smart
I can see the positive through the dark clouds looming above

LOL...I do this twice a day on another site.
don't want to repeat the same things.
So....give me a bit of time, k?

There is another similar thread started by Heather named double dog dare on this site.

So the past couple of days have been 3x a day. LOL

I have found spiritual well being

I have a roof over my head, and food in the fridge.
I have two dogs and a cat who make me laugh and laugh.
My truck is paid for and it still runs.
I finally have no credit card debt.
I am physically healthy.
I have a good therapist and a good home group if & when I need them.
I can teach myself how to do anything, so I am only dependent on others for the important stuff (like emotional support)
I am becoming the person I used to admire from afar, because I decided to be.
I have lost it all and I am still standing.
I know how to truly love.

i have great kids...

i have a nice home...

i am proud of my kids more than i am mad at them...

tyler says, *i am the best mom in the whole world* (he's reading this as i type) - wow i am the most thankful for MOMENTS like that in my life...

i have real, true friends, that i can share my life with...

i share a connection with my husband that can make me feel more passionate (for better or for worse) than anyone else in my life...

i can make the best of some pretty shi##y situations and am learning how to do that better every day...

i am thankful for the life i'm living right now, at this very moment...

thanks for all being a part of that...

love,
s

I am in good health.

Both of my parents are alive at age 82.

I have a nice little house, in a nice little neighborhood.

I am financially comfortable.

I can still remember my name, my address and telephone number.

I have Madam Dolly, need I say more.

Thanks Cinder, great thread! Just what I needed today.

This is good.

Positives in my life:

*I am blessed with a family who is incredibly supportive and downright amazing- who have never given up on me and who have sacraficed so much to save my life.
*I have amazing, long-standing friendships with my childhood best friends that have been here through so much of own illness.
*I have a job that I like (most of the time
*I have the opportunity to still be in college and have a family that is willing to continue to assist financially with my education.
*I now have my health back- I can see, smell, laugh, speak - I can move freely- there are so many things such as this that make me feel grateful.
*I no longer deeply despise my body and exist in my own physical hell as a means of dealing with my internal pain.
*I am beginning to start to see I have choices about how I can deal with things that I pray will help me to feel more in control of myself and my life.
