Bill of Rights
Bill of Rights
EVERY WOMAN'S BILL OF RIGHTS
The right to be treated with respect.
The right to have and express your own feelings.
The right to say "no" and not feel guilty.
The right to say "I don't know."
The right to feel and express anger.
The right to feel and express a healthy competitiveness and achievement drive.
The right to be treated as a capable human being and not to be patronized.
The right to have your needs be as important as the needs of other people.
The right to make mistakes.
The right to do things that other people may not approve of.
The right to do less than you are humanly capable of doing.
The right to ask "Why?"
The right to ask for help or assistance.
The right to have a preference.
The right to have and express your own opinions.

That would be great, Wabbit.
I am greatly saddened that there are so many of us who need to reminded of these points. And I am even more dismayed that is is still mainly women who live in ways that are not in accordance with them.
I have said before that I am not a bra-burner (my underwear is too expensive for that), however I do so wish that no-one has to live under any kind of tyranny. Least of all at the hands of those who profess to love us.

Great post.
I have this printed and keep it in a folder- I look at it when I begin to feel my thoughts going down the toilet and am starting to believe I do not deserve to have my needs met or to be happy and that I am too needy, defective, etc.
