Another bump..this was a long one
I haven't been arouns in a long time.
I had 18 months of sobriety under my belt. I was sober from June 2005-January 2007. I delivered a beautiful baby boy in September and delat with some post pardum depression. I began to use alcohol again to self medicate.
Of course I see now what a smuck I was to start again. I thought with all those months of sobriety, surely I can control it this time. These are the demons we battle. I am an alcoholic which means I will not and cannot have control over my drinking. Inevitibly it will take over.
I am ready to start my journey over again. I've done it before and I know I can do it again. Thanks for listening.

P.S. I doubt very much you're a shmuck; that's like calling someone a 'dick' and since you delivered a baby I presume you're female so you don't have the requisite plumbing....lol Just keep those thoughts positive
