Today Is My Birthday!
Today Is My Birthday!
Today Is My Birthday!
I was born, in Philadelphia, Pa. On July 4, 1776, during the the Second Continental Congress, meeting.
My umbilical cord was cut by 56 men, who signed their names to my birth certificate, my mothers's name: United States Of America.
Today Is My Birthday!
I was named "Declaration Of Independence" .
Today Is My Birthday!
I have walked beside 43 Presidents, who I fondly call my "Uncles".
Today Is My Birthday!
I have fought in two world wars, side by side with other courageous American's.
Today Is My Birthday!
I fell to my knees in horror, on September 11, 2001, this was the World Trade Center, how could this be, all the divirse cultures, brought down by one senseless act of hatred.
Today Is My Birthday!
I walk daily beside American's from all parts of the world. People who leave their homelands to come here, and live the "American Dream"
Today Is My Birthday!
I am 231 years old today. I stand tall, I wave the American Flag with determination
and pride. I stand by every soldier who is deployed today, defending me, the "Declaration of Independence".
Today I celebrate my independence, my freedom to choose my words, my church,my vote, my education and all the other endless rights I take for advantage.
Today Is My Birthday! Come celebrate with me, for my name is the "Declaration of Independence".....and, don't you ever forget it!
