Women Who Love Too Much
Anyone read this book??? Thoughts???
In my unquenchable thirst for more knowledge ( and to prevent myself from being in this most painful place again ) I ordered this book along with Getting Them Sober, and the follow up to it. Can hardly wait for them to arrive. Figure I will just be finishing Beyond Codependency when they get here...
Any other good reading suggestions???

If you mean the book by Robin Norwood, I have read it. I have also read one with a similar title; "Women Who Try Too Hard: Breaking the Pleaser Habits" by Dr. Kevin Leman. I preferred the latter book but the first one is very good too.
A work in progress....

If there is any abuse in your relationship, I recommend 'Why Does He Do That? Inside the Minds of Angry and Controlling Men' by Lundy Bancroft. I got it on Amazon. HUGE eye-opener for me!
I did order those two books also, I believe on someone's advice from SR,but I am not sure.
I didn't like those two that much though because they seemed to be more for women who were in physically violent relationships, and/or wanted to leave but didn't know how.
I am not in a domestic violence situation, and I do not want to get a divorce, but I did like some of the parts of the books, but I just felt they did not fit my situation exactly and would like to know of any books that might be more for my situation, married to a functioning, non-violent alcoholic.
