Woohoo Not So Bad After All For Gwen Marie
Whew, I am crying but not tears of sadness.
When Gwen originally called me the Court was taking a recess and she had to return to Court.
Ok, maybe Judge not such a 'bad joe' after all. Gwen's mom just called me.
Sentencing is not until July 13th........................and at that time he will DISMISS all but 4 MONTHS, 120 DAYS.
It will also depend, at the time, on if there is a bed available or not, so she may not even start her sentence then. After the 120 days she will be on probation for a LONG TIME like 6 or 7 years, but hell who cares, Gwen doesn't.
She is now coming down with a migraine, so those of you that do have her number please wait to call until sometime over the weekend.
Gwen and her mom thank EVERYONE FOR ALL THEIR PRAYERS.
Okay now everybody BREATHE!!!!!

Gwen, I am so happy for you!!! My heart actually tug and I felt like crying for you and your family. When your feeling better come on here and share with us.

I am so very thankful! And thank you Laurie for informing us promptly.
There must have been a meeting behind closed doors. That is where things are usually decided anyway.
(My daughter is a court reporter and I have learned from her that the way things really work aren't the way we think they are)

Hmm - I wonder if our Higher Powers got busy talking to the Judge???
However it happened I'm just grateful for Gwen.

I think sometimes they purposely scare the tar out of the defendant - for fun or as a learning experience, who knows. Maybe both. They made my exAh think they were taking him to the workfarm when he was really being released.
