I just checked this on Truth or Fiction and it is true.
Allegedly the family has put up a good deal of money for her return.

She was abducted while the family was on vacation in Portugal, I believe the parents were at dinner or something at the time and am not sure in whose care this child had been placed.

This case has received more attention than most "missing children" cases, perhaps because it happened on vacation.

My prayers go out for this little girl and her family.

This story has been covered here in America for a few weeks that I know of in the news. The family was vacationing in Portugal and the mother and father left thier children unattended in the hotel room while they went to dinner, when they came back there daughter had been taken. The parents met the Pope last week due to the magnitude of this story. She has had my prayers for sometime now.

I copied it, and sent it to all I know.

How awful for the parents.

Prayers for Madeline, and her family.

It's really scary when you realize that a child is not safe anymore. I can't imagine what those parents are going through. Prayers going out.

I heard the family was on vacation, and that while the children were sleeping, mom and dad went next door for dinner. Mom claims she went to "check" the children every 30 minutes. How many "30" minutes were they gone from those kids?
Why was the daughter the only one taken?
Call me cynical, but something doesn't add up to me. Why would they leave the children unattended in the first place? In a strange place, at that.
I don't know.
My heart breaks for this little girl. It takes me back to the Ramsey case. Then I get pi$$ed.
I'm sorry. My prayers for this baby, wherever she is. God bless her and keep her safe and unharmed. I pray, if she was kidnapped, that it was by a woman who just wanted a child of her own or something.
Aaarrrrrgggggg! Would you listen to me? What a bunch of crap.
Her parents need to be strung up. That, dear friends, is JMHO.

I found this latest update so I wanted to include this cnn link on this thread. I am with bookmiser, if this was an abduction it would have been impossible if her mother and father were around to stop it. I do not have kids but I have two tiny dogs that I don't let outside unattended as one could be taken very easily by a bird of prey, dogs or people. I have a two pounder and a three pounder so i have to be careful. I am sure these poor parents meant no harm in what they did but it was a STUPID move and one most people would not have made. Love your kids like you would a million dollars and you most likely will never lose them in this way. My prayers are still with her and her family. JMHO
