day 72 and still hanging in

today is day 72 of being free from alcohol. i would just like to thank everyone here for their continued support and help. i cant believe how much of life i was missing by drinking. it seems there are more hours in the day and i really look forward to doing things rather than planning trips to the store for more booze. my wife is happy, my kids seem more relaxed and life is good again.

thats so good! isn't life good? even when things happen that aren't so good, its really something to be able to actually feel... and not just the raging out of control fearful feeling that alcohol brings on.

congrats! enjoy!!

That's great coopsdad, congrats! Going to any meetings in Phoenix? There are some great meetings in Scottsdale, but then again I don't think there's any such thing as a bad AA meeting.

Way to go, keep it up one day at a time!

Thats fantastic coopsdad!

Don't become over confident, and watch

out for the demons, expect them, plan for them,

and you will continue to have these days....

hope and love, hope3

Great job.
I agree with Hope.
Over confidence can get you. Not trying to throw a wrench at ya.
It did me. More times than I can count.
But it does feel good. Doesnt it?
Keep it up.
