An observation in differences.
An observation in differences.
Us alcoholics when we are practicing our trade could care less about anybody or anything.
You codies when it comes to us care about everybody and anything that has anything to do with us when you are in your disease.
Is this observation of you all right or wrong.

Yes RIGHT that would be:
Co-Dependent
"An individual who exhibits overdependence on people, behaviors, or things; an example is the spouse who supports addiction by excusing, denying, or concealing evidence of the partner's alcoholism."
"Of or relating to a relationship in which one person is psychologically dependent in an unhealthy way on someone who is addicted to a drug or self-destructive behavior, such as chronic gambling."
"One who is co-dependent or in a co-dependent relationship."
Taz it is not just about being about the A it can be in any type of relationship! The A's just seem to have the most effect on us! *smile*

Taz,
I think it's mostly true- but please don't take it as non-validation!!! Some people are naturally better at multi-tasking than others. Codies do tend to 'do it all' and then some.
Being in the position to focus on one thing at a time and have good concentration is a good thing sometimes, where I as a multi-tasker might miss something---like adding an entry into the checkbook! lol

Yes ... and the irony is that once alcohol is taken out of the picture and the alcoholic is in true recovery ... they in turn can become caring people and very supportive of others as well. I know that is what happened with my dad. Sound familiar Taz! LOL
