My RAH is 15 days clean. He is still having the drug dreams. Do any of you know how long these will last?

don't remember how long they last, but like someone above said, its only a dream though they are so real and can be a trigger. what worked for me was to keep reminding myself that they were only dreams and that i didn't have to allow them to make me use either, calling my sponsor or go to a meeting. let him know to try not to meditate on the dream at all. they sometimes still come months after getting clean then every now and again they may still come, but they really are just dreams. i would always say a prayer for peaceful sleep before i went to bed. keeping you and yours in my prayers

i've heard it's really important to talk about them, as yes - like teke said - they can be triggers. my daughter had them a lot the first few months. now, they seem to be tapered off. i'll ask her if they've come back since her relapse..

blessings, k
