Post mother's day apology

Duh...I just realized that I was probably quite insensitive writing a post with the title "best mother's day ever" when there are sooooo many mom's out there that had a crappy one, not knowing where their addicts are, etc. I guess I was just way too happy to be home and not thinking, as usual.
If it's any consolation...my last year's mother's day was horrible, so hopefully next year, yours will be your "best ever" too. There is always hope!
Also, promised lots of pics from our trip....just posting one more. This is the grad and his brand new fiance. (Ahhh....to be young and in love!)

Secretmom, I dont feel like you need to apoligize at all. You had a great moms day and you deserve it. We come here all the time for our ups and downs well this was one of your ups... good for you and your family and if anything your story provides hope for other moms out there who are suffering.

Hugs,
jewel

I agree - there's no need to apologize. Just as we're here to support those who are hurting, we're also here to share in the joys of those who have good stuff to share. I, for one, am really happy that you had a wonderful mother's day, and I'm sure that everyone else here is happy for you as well.

I think it's great you had such a nice day and of course you should always feel welcome to share all your good news along with the bad. In fact it might give others hope that there are better days ahead for them as well.

Don't you dare apologize Barb. We know what you have been through and we are all happy for you to have a great Mother's Day. If it can't be happy for me, it still makes me happy when someone else's addict is a recovering addict. Hope is what it is all about and you gave that to us yesterday. Hugs, Marle

Thx, everyone...I read all the sad posts last night, AFTER I posted and felt terrible. But it's good to know that the intention was understood...hopefully, we will all have never ending happy mother's days. :-)
I seem to have lost a response though...someone said the couple looked like the princess and the frog and I came back to quote it and provide a "better" pic, but it seems to be gone?
SS is really quite handsome if he would let his hair grow a bit and lose the stupid sideburns.....all the male grads had the same stupid sideburns! YUCK!
Better pic, I hope...

I didn't see that post either (frog prince)

Anyway, I agree with the others - no need to apologize. It gives us something to hope for and look foward to.
Please keep up the positive posts you guys!
When I am having a bad day, I really do enjoy reading that someone had a good day.
HUGS

There is enough bad news to go around; we love to hear the good news! It makes me feel so hopeful when I hear others having a great day.

No apology needed, my dear! Only good news. Share it anytime.
