Funeral for a Friend
Got word this week an old college fraternity brother passed away. Heck we are not that old!!
He was also a victim of alcoholism. I think he has been sober for years,......but you never know. He did die from from a combination of liver & heart failure .
He was great guy. A sharp sense of wit and humour that I really appreciated. I will remember the good times!
AEKDB my friend!!!

I'm sorry for your loss.
I went to a big AA thing the other day. One of my High School buddies was a speaker there, with 16 years sobriety .THAT was a surprise, he was the local drug dealer back then.
Anyway, all the guys I used to run with are dead, in jail, or have some sort of substance abuse problem. (Or other, like gambling). Well, except for the ones that have "program".
