Any good Non-alchohlic drinks?????

Has anyone out there had any decent NA wine? I LOVE wine, and I really miss it! I tried some Fre', but it was nasty! I think I'm at a point where I can do without the alchohol, but would love to sit and sip a glass of GOOD wine. Any suggestions???

Also, thought this might be a good place to post some recipes for good NA drinks, rate NA wine/beer.

Hi Laura,

As Jason said, I also tried non alcoholic beer and it was terrible. I also felt like if I couldn't have the REAL thing, I didn't want it.

However, I do like Pina Coladers without the alcohol of course...

I've tried the St. Pauli girl NA, not bad.. I prefer it to O'Doul's, which is okay.

I avoid the NA stuff because it still contains a small percentage of alcohol. I also tried drinking NA beer in an effort to quit drinking, all it did was make me want the real thing even more. This subject has been batted all over the place on SR.

I enjoy green teas, chai, Pellegrino, Perrier, and there are some really cool "designer and gourmet" sodas out there, the Jones line for example.

I love club soda with lots of ice and lemon or lime - it's quite crisp!

Also love fruit smoothies - fruit, ice and o.j. in a blender it's dee-lish.

Yes! Yes! Red grape juice and 7up. Not only yummy, but loaded with antioxidents. It's just like red wine without the alcohol!

i like pomegranate juice mixed with seltzer, or pomegranate/blueberry juice with sprite zero... pom juice is a great source of antioxidants, too. pom-orange juice is really good, too.

and i LOVE the half lemonade, half iced tea... mmm...

sometimes i save my morning coffee pot - what's left. i blend it with ice and some milk and a little cocoa and sugar - make my own cold mocha coffee. it's more calories than i need for everyday, but a nice treat when i need a boost or want a treat.

take that, starbucks!

I didn't know NA drinks still contain a small percentage of alcohol -- really? I've never had one before.

It's a very small percentage BtoB, something like .5%. But still, what's the point?

It contains about the same percentage of alcohol as orange juice, but oj tastes much better. I like it with a little grenadine and a splash of Sprite.
