This song, amongst others on the same CD is what began my sob-fest a few days ago. I love how music can help me 'uncover' thoughts and feelings that I have buried for too long. For me, this was a long over-due release.

ICU in reading that it had to have been written by some one in recovery, I am not that familiar with Alanon, but in AA "This to shall pass" is a very common cliche used that is very applicable. Great song! Thanks.

That's the beauty of music....people might and often do relate based on their own thought process and experiences which may be totally different than the writer's intent for the song.

I think if it speaks to you in some way, that's all that really matters.
