update-Ah's b-day present
Ah's b-day is tomorrow, and last week I posted about what to get him...
I have decided to take him to a professional baseball game tomorrow afternoon. I bought the tickets on line, and I am getting out of work early tomorrow. I think it will be a nice, fun surprise... and this weekend we are going back to his rehab town to celebrate his 30 days clean by going to church and a speaker meeting so he can get his 30 day coin. Life is good right now...
and me, I think I am just as or more excited about the baseball game and I started training for my 5K run yesterday. I feel very blessed right now and I am taking it one day at a time. I think I am going to catch a CoDA meeting tonight, even though things are great right now, I want to make sure I am staying level headed.

Daisy, that was a great idea and something you can both enjoy together.
I am so happy that he is doing well, and equally happy that you are going to keep up on your meetings. CoDA was my home fellowship and I thought it was a wonderful group.

glad to hear that things are going good for you and yours, congrats on your rah's 30 days and you are right to want to continue to go to your meetings, its most important right now. hope you have fun at the ball game. keeping you both in my prayers
