I hear much about myself through music and when something hits me I have to share... this is what hit me this morning....

I love that song Cyan.

That's exactly how I felt and I played it night and day.
Being numb while i was clean and sober was some'in else.

I got caught in the undertow, caught in the undertow...for a while there.
Music also helps me... if a person can write words that I was experincing.
It also reminded me that I wasn't alone and someone did go through what
I was going through. In a way the life wasn't unfair just to me and I wasn't
single out.

Cynay!~
It's like the words of the song I heard Sunday morning that I posted. They may have been right under our face, or it may be a new song to hear. But, I totally believe that the HP, (being God, Karma, whatever your choice) does bring things like words to melodies that can bring a great deal of healing in our lives. They validate us, our emotions, our feelings. They LIBERATE us!~

This is a great way to listen to a new song or see a video. I had never heard this song before .. and I love it.

I too have found music to be a salvation in my most stressful times. My son introduced me to digital music online over a year ago with Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day ... and I have been hooked ever since. I now have my play list on both Itunes and Real player that I listen to on my computer while working or just surfing.

Music has been such a powerful and positive influence and when I look by at certain challenging situations and I wonder how I got through them with my sanity...I remember I would start listening to some of my favorite songs, and it would always lift my spirits and keep me going.
