need prayers

a little off the record here but I care so much for all of you-and I have no one else to ask-I know your prayers will help me.
They have found a large lump on my lower neck (I may have told you previously) I was hoping it was a thyroid thing but it is not.I also have another lump in my left breasts.

I am going to have it surgically removed and biopsied-and I am nervous. My health has been so poor I just can't handle anything else.

Today I realized how weak I was when I tried to rake a wee bit. I have been exercising-walking-I figured my strength would be building up but I am even weaker than before. After I raked a very small patch of ground-I lost allmy coordination and couldn't walk. I was so angry and frustrated I just weeped and weeped.

I am praying I will be able to handle the surgery and that the biopsy shows nothing,,,,I worry cause I have such crappy luck in the health department...
then again I didnt have all of you back then like I do now and I believe in the power of positive thoughts and prayers---so send some my way ok?
I took this pic the other day over my house--it was a double rainbow--hope its a sign?

HEY!

What is this???

I worry cause I have such crappy luck in the health department...
Nope ..... stop that, not negative thoughts.... the past is the past and now you have GREAT luck.

I know how scared you probably are, I had two cancer scares in one year awhile back... they took a lump out of my breast and then had to take a portion of my cervix (SP) .... both turned out ok.

You will do just fine, you body is just saving up to fight what is in you and that is why you are tired.... that is a good thing, so listen to your bod and rest silly.... nothing to cry over, your body is just doing its job.

Love you and prayers for you as well.

Sunflower! I am sending you a great big hug and a whole lot of prayers for healing. After dealing with cancer and MS, I can understand how you feel.
They say that God doesn't give us more than we can handle, but sometimes the challenges seem very overwhelming. I prayed to God for healing quite frequently. I also know that health problems are caused by malnutrition, dehydration, and stress. So, drink lots and lots of water, eat healthy foods, and try to avoid stress. Easier said than done, but try it!

I don't know if this is correct or not, but I repeat the Serenity prayer often.
I think it goes like this:

God, grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time.
Enjoying one moment at a time.
Accepting hardship as the pathway to peace.
Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is
Not as I would have it.

Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His will
That I may be reasonably happy in this life,
and supremely happy with Him
forever in the next.

It's early in the morning, so forgive any grammatical or spelling errors.
This is what I say every day and it helps me through the rough times.

God Bless You and I'll keep you in my prayers!

for you my dear!!! it does no good to worry about something until you actually have something to worry about. it will be just fine!!! don't waste worry on something that will turn out to be nothing.

Hi Sunflower, my prayers are with you.

My lover went through breat cancer this

summer, and will be on medication for 5 years.

We did a lot of reading on the subject and researched

many subjects on the matter, if you would like to ask any

questions, please feel free to pm me, and I'll get the info to you.

Your friend in recovery, hope3

I feel your pain, and I always pray for you.. you never need to ask. A little ray of hope... I have had the lumps before.. mine were just fatty tissue brought apon by all the steroid use . They removed them no biggy! The biopsy part is not so bad, for me they numbed the area took them out. I was very sore but thats it..
Maybe this is the reason why you have been so weak. If we (you) get to the bottom of what the lumps are you might get to feeling better. I know this disease takes a toll on us and with all the stress it doesn't help. Stay strong and head up, after all we have made it this far!
Love You, Lynne
