Been a little while since I started a thread. In this time AH has "cut back" to only a couple of beers a night....then nothing. Seems to be doing okay. Somehow, I just don't believe he can "quit" just like this....After all he has put me through I am having a great deal of difficulty in even being able to have feelings for him.

Well, anyway, we had made plans to travel to the Outer Banks in June with several other couples, awhile back. They need the money this week. We had insurance on 3 cars come up, Soooo little miss codie (being me ) says I will just go to the credit union and borrow the money....(only $500.00).....he (ah) can pay me back.

Well, today I got the loan and have decided to keep the money myself ........for backup, divorce, whatever.....and not let him know.
I feel selfish, but the more I thought about it our entire time together I have "bumped" our finances around so he could get what he wanted......putting myself out.......not gonna do it this time, no sir !!!

Just wanted to vent.

Good Girl! That is they way to do it....you you you nest egg you you you - if you use the nest egg for you or use for if and when he is better-so be it ...your doing the right thing!

don't feel bad about it... i'm sure he has hid many things from you before (like beer bottles?!) and never felt bad!

yes everyone needs to have a little nest egg--wether they are with an A or not!!!!! WOW I am wondering what it will be like for you to go away witha bunch of other couples for a vacation?Will that be good or Bad?

Keep that money for yourself and add to it every once in a while , before you know it you will have more than you need for whatever you decide you want to do ! You are worth it
