Red face Sorry,

I was want to say that I am sorry for not answering posts. I have been reading them and praying for everyone. The last few days I have been really down, and couldn't really respond to many. I don't know what it is, but don't like feeling this way.
Just wanted everyone to know that I am ok, and have been reading and praying for my family here.
Hope to be back to myself soon, and hopefully I will be able to help others soon.
Love all of you

pjbs,

You just hang in there, honey. We all have ups and downs. Sometimes we can come here and give. Other times it's all we can do to put one foot in front of the other. Good thing about this place is we all understand.

We're here for you. Just know that.

Prayers and hugs,

(((pam))) Me too. I've just recently started to feel like I could add something here that wasn't going to be based on me feeling down. I hope you get to feeling better soon.

Don't isolate yourself too much but take all the time you need. You never have to apologize for "taking care of your life!" That's really what it's all about.

We all worry about those who don't come around often but we never, ever get angry about it or upset. We are with you even when you are not here, remember that!

I want to thank all of you. Today seems to be a little brighter for me, so that is a start. I don't know if it was not hearing from my kids on easter, the weather or the fear of turning 50 soon. All of you made me feel the love I know I will get from this site. You really are family, since mine real family suc*s.
Today I will make it a better day than yesterday and hope to keep doing it.
Hope everyone has a good day,
Hugs

Pam,
Don't fear turning 50! I am only 44 (fixin' to be 45) and I am looking FORWARD to turning 50! I figure I was just "learning" in the first half of my life (I plan to live to be 100, at least!) What a milestone! Half a century on this Earth. Think about all the great things we've seen in our lifetimes.....and many more to see! Heck, at 50 I'll just be getting started....WooHoo!!!
Remember:"Every day above ground is a good day!!"

Hey, you guys are babies compared to me. I'll be 53 in June. UGGHH. 50's could have been better, with all of the chaos surrounding as's addiction, but here's hoping the rest of my 50's gets better. Amen to tropikgal's quote, "Everyday above ground is a good day".

PJBS,

I'm happy to report there IS life after 50 and it can be a darn good one. Funny thing, at my meeting the other night the subject turned to "attitude". Guess my HP knew I needed that one. I used to be one that could always zoom in on the negative. But after attending meetings for a while, that started to change. How? I'm assuming it's the 12 step program and my HP, but I'm telling you my attitude about my life has changed.

If you can, why not make a meeting and see if a change of focus and a change of attitude might start for you today? And please know I say this with love and understanding in my heart, cause I have been right where you are today. What I learned through meetings was I didn't have to stay in that pit.

Big hugs and sunshine for you,
