I was driving to work this morning and I started crying and cried for much of the 75 Minute journey. They where tears of sadness and joy. Tears of healing. I actually don’t need to understand what this was about its healing for me and I have realised since then that it’s the gratitude (joy) that I feel at being in recovery and beginning to get glimpses of the life that is possible as I open up.

Thanks for being here with me on this journey and thank you for helping me realise the love and put aside the fear.

I was C and S for 7 months. Frozen. Started crying at 7. Cried

through 8 and 9. Now into 10, and joy has overtaken much

of the sorrow. A shiny new feeling. Indeed.
