Its Monday again my cooking day whats 4 dinner

Tonight I am making scalloped potatoes. And I am also making split pea soup. I am outdoing myself. I gotta do something with the 20lbs of left over ham. Fiance cant pass up a good deal ya know it was on sale what was he thinking 30lb ham? Men I tell ya. I cant wait for dinner though I hate peeling and cutting the potatoes they are worth it in the end!

I'm not cooking anything because in typical male fashion...........there is no food in the house to cook!! I go away for a month and all hell breaks loose!! No ice trays in the freezer, dirty dishes, clothes all over the bedroom floor............and alas..........no dinner!! I'm gonna starve to death over here!!

well its leftover time and i still don't have to cook. i guess it time for me to come off strike though, getting kind of tired of eating what they decide to cook, getting kind of hungry for some real food.

That sounds like a plan. I was too tired to wring his neck when I got in...........but as I look around.....I'm beginning to find the strength.

Why sure Anvil! You can have the 1st piece. All it is is pecan shortbread cookies in a pan, spread cool chocolate pudding over it and add whip cream on top. Sooo easy and quick. I had to laugh. I went for the frig after reading this thread too! lol! So far Ive downed about two meals in an hour! But thats good for me! I have a problem where I cant gain weight. So I eat constantly. And I would like to know how to make crunchy fried chicken too!
