Liver enzymes
Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. It has been over 4 months of not drinking and I just completed a full physical. Everything was fine except my liver enzyme count was high. Doctor said not to worry but getting more bloodwork and an ultrasound done that he can look at this closer. I am assuming that years of drinking would cause this but was hoping 4 months would have been a big help. Also, no symptons and I feel fine. I know medical advice can't be given on this forum but was hoping someone may have had a similar experience and also hopeful that continued sobriety and a healthy lifestyle will get this back to normal. Anyone?

Liver
I am not sure and should have gotten the numbers. I guess enough to warrant another look. I was kind of bummed but i am assuming (hoping) that continuing down this path it will improve. I feel the best I have felt in a long time.

It took me a year until my liver enzymes returned to normal. I don't exactly remember what they were but they were high but not astronomical. It surprised me also that it took so long. Also took a year for my CBC to return to normal.
