Please allow me to introduce myself....
Hi My name is Kevin and I am an addict in recovery. I just wanted to introduce myself. I haven’t used drugs for nearly 23 months and have been at SR and working a program in NA for the same time.
Mostly I have been in the Newcomers, but have decided that I have gone through enough changes to start to look around. So I have focused on the F&F’s forums for a few reasons and am happy to be here.
My story is in the Recovery Stories forum under; "Kevin's Story" I think!

welcome to S.R. we are glad to have you here with the family & friends of substance abuses.we are always proud of the ones who are making it. everyday clean & sober is a miracle.i will make sure i read your story.keep coming back.prayer,hope

Thanks for the welcome and hi (((((Done))))).
I wrote that story about 11 months ago, so it has grown some and I have remembered for more detail, I may update it some time or maybe just talk about it in F&F
I love having hope, so if I brought a little in with me thats great

I'm Linda and my 25 yo son is the addict in my life, although I did grow up with alcoholism in my family. A lot of'em.

Hey Kevin! So glad to see you made your way here. Welcome to the f&f side...happy to have you in our family...it's a terrific bunch of really caring people. Congratulations on almost 2 years, that's awesome. I've read your story before and always enjoy the esh you share. Thanks! Hugs
