I am back....
....not what you think though, I am still sober!! Computer problems will test your sobriety though!!! I was able to visit the site, but not reply to anything...first my mouse, then my keyboard went berserk (I love that word) I could visit, but not post anything.
I have so much to catch up on.....welcome to everyone who I wasn't able to respond to immediatly, I have been reading all the posts and goong nuts when I couldn't respond!!!
That's all for now, just didn't want you to think anything bad happened.

in active addiction I have been known to do useful things like hurl my computer at the wall if it didn't work, useful eh? These days we do things different.

Computer problems will test your sobriety though!!!
In '03 my computer fried, yep fried, and I was in bad straits financially and fighting with Social Security. My dear friend Lora lived in Illinois at that time and with no long distance for either of us (neither of us could afford it) the computer was the way we communicated. (She has since moved down here, and we now share a home together, with the dogs and cats, lol. So our house has almost 61 years of sobriety in it, rofl).
Thank God for our library. I would be down there before openning and as soon as it openned hit the one puter way back in the corner that had IM on it. (the only one in the whole library and the computer lab, the head tech was kind enough to put it on there for me, knowing the straits I was in. Even with that access every morning, the rest of the day was really really hard. I didn't feel like drinking, but dang I was frustrated to the point of being on a 'dry drunk' from May until December of that year when I was able to buy a rebuilt one, and get on line.
I so totally understand your frustration and I am glad you are back on line!!!!! I do enjoy your contributions!!!!
