Sharing happiness
This has to be the best day of my life! RAS just got a terrific paying job, with a company van and all the perks. He certainly deserves it after pulling himself out of the h*ll he was in for so long. They voted him as president of his Oxford house and I think the responsibility will do wonders for him. He thanks his HP for each wonderful new day. (I do, too)
SS is interviewing this week with Dreamworks (yes, the famous dreamworks that does all the animated movies) and with Blue Sky next week (the Ice Age people). Since he's top of his class, he's going to get choices....we just don't want California...too far. So hoping for Blue Sky in NY.
PLUS, all of this is happening on my birthday...can't ask for a better one. Hubby and RAS are out now buying me a high def TV....I know it won't be a surprise, but which one they buy will be :-)
Sooooo happy I had to share with my SR family. Wishing the same happiness for everyone here!

this is so great, can't wait to hear about your gift, and i am so happy for you and your son. i pray that this is the new beginning that we've all been waiting for. keeping all of you in my prayers.

Unlike marle I haven't figured out who Secret Mom is but that's okay...

so glad you updated SS too....seems like we're always hearing about our troubled ones...
I have two SS and know how important it is to celebrate their accomplishments too!!

WOW....it's a beautiful LCD HD TV with a built in DVD player. The picture is totally incredible! It's also our anniversary present, since hubby will enjoy it as much as I....we have both of our bd's and our anniversary all in the same week. (Never easy)
Marle, oops, thought you figured me out awhile ago. My RAS has promised to never come to this site ever again. And for once in his life, I actually believe him and trust what he says. Plus he says he could find me if he wanted to, no matter how hard I hid, which is probably true. He just loves to tease me.
Laketime...I just posted two days ago about the Oxford Houses, only got one good response, but personally, I think they have saved my son's life. Search back a couple days and you should find it.
Lil, my real name is B*rb, even if RAS searches for me, doubt he would search for that. Plus I have only been posting good stuff lately, and he desperately wants to come on here and thank everyone for helping his mom. Since I won't let him, I will pass along his thanks to everyone. He says you all saved me when he couldn't. So HUGE thanks from RAS to everyone!
