Hi everyone--well I jus spent the lasy 24 hours in the Emergency Room!!! I am so tired of being sick and tired!!!As I have told you in the past I have Lupus. Well suddenly this SHARP BLINDING PaiN hit me in the gut--literally knocked me off my feet-I was covered in sweat and I couldn't breathe--Never had I had such pain(and pain is my middle name)It felt like nothing I have ever experienced and I thought--I am having a heart attack!My number must be up!! well paramedic came and emts and cops--I was screaming in pain and couldn't even wal
Well it scared the crapout of my AS---
Here is the funny part--I seriously believed I was going out if you knw what I mean--so I said to my AS'''''be a good boy and -don't ever drink again''''
CAN YOU IMAGINE????? Talk about an enabler--right to the end!!27 and I am talking to him like he is 10!!
Turns out--not my heart but another issue I have to deal with tomorrow at a specialists.....so I would appreciate any prayers..thanks

Perhaps your son will see that if you had a dying wish, it woud be for his sobriety and that perhaps the stress of his drinking is causing an exacerbation of the lupus. I'm glad you are well enough to tell us about it. You certainly will be included in my prayers. I don't interpret your words to your son as enabling what so ever. It was, in your mind and heart, your last will and testiment.

[COLOR="Purple"]Well thank you for all those nice prayers and thoughts--I needed them.Turns out not to really be my lupus but a side effect of the medication I am taking,,a paralytic illeus..very mild case--if you are a medical person you will know what it is--if you have had it you will remember believe me!!!!--So I AM FULL OF CRAP!!!! see that what they say---it is a side effect from the narcotics--the intestine starts to shut down--blockage occurs-possibly rupture..So I wont even tell you what they did to me for 2 hours today!!UGH!!!I am scheduled for most test-and am on medication..seems I will be ok if I stay ahead of it--if it doesn't start getting better-I will have to stop the morphine and go on methadone they say..(for pain)
Enough of that----YES-I think it did strike a cord with my son what I yelled to him from the stretcher- ,
I will be fine--just another set back in the health department...

Pain stinks and Lupus is a bad one. If you're not set back by the disease itself, the meds will get you. Keep in mind, you've got a group of people here who care for and pray for you.
