As some of you can tell I have been away for awhile, I took some time away from here to deal with a situation that I was having and I hope it is taken care of. I am still sober, but I felt like things hadnt changed much since I quit, I know I am probably not making any sense, anyway I have decided to work on me and my life and not worry about others, or get involved with other peoples problems. I have also had to deal with some health issues, nothing serious but I am in the process of getting all my infected teeth pulled, which have caused my health to be not so great. I am gratefull that I have 21 months of sobriety. and I also need to get back to work on my program and to start my steps over. I guess I just wanted to say hi and you will be seeing more of me.

welcome back, okietiger..........it sounds like you are doing well.........it is a great thing when you learn to focus on yourself and whats important and not get caught up in other people's drama.........you have a very healthy attitude.....

congratulations! 21 months of sobriety........that's amazing..........you should be so proud of yourself.....

Hi oktieger . I relatively new to the site, having joined this past November. It's good to hear that you've stayed sober... 21 months is awesome. I look foward to reading more from you.

Thanks, you all, it is a great feeling being sober, but I have also learned that you can get too confortable and let your guard down. I know I am going to work on keeping that guard up and keep on striving for what is best for me.
